Para Cyclist Geeta Rao covers 3651kms in 16 days in Race Across India with one active leg 

    It’s time to Thank those people now apart from officials, sponsors, crew and family. They touched my heart with their warmth being with me in this tough time and in real life they are all achievers. Other than our family, it’s our friends & well-wishers who guide us through thick and thin. Amitbhai, Jarul, Jagruti, Anand, Col Sunny, Megha, Preeti, DJ, Manojbhai, All Dhaatri Doctors Team, Dr Santhosh, Ravie, Anupama, Shankar, Prateek, Pratap Sir, JJ and few more ultra-cyclists from Kashmir to Kanyakumari whom I was listening over phone with serious care & concerns ! Some of them made me to dream for it, some made me to keep going and stand on start line whereas some of them made me to reach Kanyakumari finish point to Race Across India and constantly worked in background. Most importantly they all believed in me and stood tall when I needed the most.

    It’s important for me to surround myself with People who believe in good values and ethics, and who strive for the best even in terms of adversity and stand tall in tough time. Not only that I always make conscious effort to surround myself with genuine, warm, positive, nourishing, happy and uplifting people, place, work, sound, colour and environment as that enhance my peace of mind and peace of spirit. All such people/things around me are something who believe in me and encourage me to go after my dreams, challenge to make myself better, and applaud my small but all victories.
